To accelerate big-data project development and domestic substitution, we developed AI-chip-based big-data compute-acceleration technology. China Telecom Research Institute, together with Fangyi Technology and Tianshu Zhixin, built a complete heterogeneous big-data analytics platform based on domestic GPUs and storage array cards, realizing GDS direct data path. The project, based on the open-source RAPIDS framework, proposed the domestic GPU-enabled architecture ixRapids, combining Spark with ixRapids to perform high-performance data-science analysis within distributed computing frameworks without modifying existing code. In multiple typical scenarios, it achieved big-data analytics performance far beyond CPU computing.
